Mata (or actually Michal Matczak) is a Polish rapper and songwriter born in 2000. Mata is one of the most famous debuts in the history of Polish music. At the beginning of 2020, Mata's debut studio album "100 dni do matury" (100 days to graduation) premiered and was promptly covered with a diamond disc status. 2021 was a breakthrough year for Mata. The first half of the year saw the release of the song "Patoreakcja," (Patoreaction) the first single heralding the second album, which set a daily streaming record in Poland for the streaming service Spotify.
