Fake Followers Checker
Analyze influencer account credibility. Check view-to-follower ratio and engagement rate.
How it works?
How to spot fake followers?
Fake followers are artificial accounts (bots) that influencers buy to inflate their follower count. The problem is widespread — according to industry reports, 15-20% of influencer accounts have a suspiciously high number of fake followers.
Collaborating with an influencer who has fake followers means wasted budget — your ads reach bots instead of real people. That's why verifying an account before a collaboration is crucial.
What do we analyze?
Our tool checks 3 key indicators:
- Engagement Rate vs Benchmark — we compare the influencer's ER against the norm for their platform and category. Too low ER with high follower count is a red flag.
- View-to-follower ratio (VTR) — if an account has 100K followers but posts get only 500 views, something is off. Normal VTR is 3-50%.
- Likes-to-comments ratio — bots can like posts, but rarely leave natural comments. A ratio above 500:1 is suspicious.
How to interpret the score?
A score of 70-100 indicates high credibility — the account looks authentic. 40-69 means moderate credibility — worth a closer look. Below 40 suggests possible fake followers or bots. Keep in mind this is a preliminary analysis — a full audit requires deeper inspection of the follower list.
